My name is Kari, I am a 30 year old wife, mom & vegetarian. I work full time and try to juggle my family, my friends, my job, my faith, and a healthy lifestyle. I also volunteer twice a month in the elementary ministry at my church. Sometimes I am successful at balancing everything, sometimes an area or two gets neglected. I'm human and far from perfect. (just don't tell my husband that ;)
I am not a doctor, a nutritionist or a personal trainer. I am not a fitness expert. I am just a person who has successfully lost weight. I've learned a lot along the way. Primarily though, what works for me. I do understand and acknowledge that not all bodies/lifestyles/desires are created equal. I can only speak based on my own experiences.
A lot of people ask me about food, weight loss, exercise etc and I enjoy sharing what I've learned... A lot of times though, I find myself typing out a lot of the same information or recipe etc to different people. So I decided to start a blog and put it all here. I will share my struggles as well as my triumphs and I will probably add a little bit of tidbits that are simply about my life and are in no way related to health/fitness on occasion too.. I hope you don't mind.
